JULIO IGLESIAS JR.

TERCERA DIMENSION.... a quality of depth that confers reality. As the title implies, Julio Iglesias Jr.'s new album, or just Julio how he is now known, offers a dose of this and more. Julio got his inspiration from Anglo rock and not only did he write lyrics, but also co-produced the album.

Tercera Dimension (Third Dimension) contains 10 songs, each with its own individual richness of rhythms and meaning. Under the production of Julio, Pete Masitti (Hootie & the Blowfish, Danny Wood) and Luis Fernando Ochoa (Shakira, Bacilos, Ricky Martin), the music industry is in for something fresh and new.

"Musically, I feel more mature and I feel very comfortable singing in Spanish, my first language. I enjoyed putting this album together... it's definitely me, my style," says Julio.

When you listen to the lyrics of each song, you gain a better understanding of the real Julio... he is a rebel that likes to think out of the box and his music is a perfect example of this. Each track leaves room for the listener's interpretation. Don't try to find an exact meaning behind each song because each is an abstract audio masterpiece.

"I don't want it to be my song... I want the listener to identify and make it their song," says Julio. They are about life and its ultimate mystery of love and about surviving in a desensitized and complicated society, while still trying to keep a positive outlook.

Like Julio says, "Sometimes people think that they have it really bad but you have to think that there's always someone worse off than you." The album's first single, "Los Demas" (Others) is a perfect example of this.

In 2001, Julio met and signed with renowned manager Doc McGhee (Bon Jovi, Mötley Crüe, Skid Row, KISS) who presented Julio's material to Warner Music Latina. A partnership was formed and a record was born.

Julio was born in Madrid, Spain on the 25th of February to well-known singer, Julio Iglesias and Isabel Preysler. He moved to Miami, Florida at a very young age, a place he now considers home. Although he has spent his whole life surrounded by music, his own personal journey into the music industry didn't begin until the late 90's when he released his first album in English.

With the desire to go back to his roots and reestablish himself, the budding musician chose to sing in Spanish.... the result is the mind-expanding Tercera Dimension. Welcome to a new dimension
